MIGUEL ÁNGEL DE TENA MARTÍNEZ, flamenco singer. Badajoz is born in 1976, in Ruecas, Badajoz. More known in the Flamenco world as Miguel de Tena, he begins from child listening to flamenco singers like Marchena, El Niño de la Huerta, Valderrama or The Loreño. He started in peñas and festivals of national at the age of fifteen.
In 1997, he begins of the hand of the guitarist Romero of Badajoz, making début only one year later with his disc, the volumen 15 of the Summary of the Flamenco in the province of Badajoz.
In Murcia, he enters the big door appearing to Lo Ferro's famous contest and obtaining the prize " Melón de Oro ", the recording of a disc and the recognition of the juror and of the critique for in 2000 to extract his second disc " De Extremadura a Lo Ferro ".
In 2003 he is done by the Granaínas's first prize in the Festival of The Mines and he add the first positions in Calasparra's contests (Murcia), of Santander and of Mairena del Alcor (Sevilla).
In 2006 there raised with La Lámpara mInera of 46 edition of the International Festival of Sing of the Mines of The Union.
With one sing sweetly and clearly, of high records and an extraordinary power, he stands out specially in sing free as the Granaína, the Fandango or the Petenera, as well as in them sing of his land, as Tangos and Jaleos.
