About Jonatan Miró
JONATAN MIRÓ, flamenco dancer. He was born in 1981, in Barcelona. He started in the world of dance with José de la Vega or La Tani. He has a degree in Spanish Dance and Flamenco from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona.
Miró has become a member of the National Ballet of Spain, working with masters such as Pilar López, José Granero, Antonio Gades, Alberto Lorca, y Mariemma, among others.
In 1999 Jonathan Miró joined the "Compañía de Antonio Canales" in Madrid and Barcelona to participate in the show "Tiempo 2000".
Jonathan Miró has worked in companies like Rubén Olmo's with shows such as "Belmonte" or "Pinocchio", in DosXmedio by Rafael Estévez and Nani Paños, and in "Flamenco Hoy" by Carlos Saura with artists such as Pastora Galván and Rocio Molina, among others.
In 2007 he was awarded the prize for best dancer at the XVI Certamen de Danza Española y Flamenco de la comunidad de Madrid.
In 2010 he premiered his own show called "Momentos" in Madrid. A year later he took over the artistic direction of Tablao Villa-Rosa in Madrid, which he still occupies today.
