José Luis García Bravo - Flamenco singing / "Cante"
JOSÉ LUIS GARCÍA BRAVO, flamenco singer. Better known as "Cheíto", this artist from Huelva began his professional artistic career when he was only 7 years old in the group "Los Activos", which started a project called "Taller de compás flamenco Los Activos" in 1987 in the Torrejón neighbourhood of Huelva Town Hall, together with the painter Joaquín Martín Jiménez.
This group became one of the best known internationally for its "mestizo flamenco" and fusion of Spain. With this project, "Cheíto" travelled around the world sharing the stage with artists such as Enrique Morente, La Martirio, Kiko Veneno, Javier Barón and many more. After he has toured with Chano Domínguez, Carmen Larumbe Company, Cristina Hoyos Company with the show "Tierra adentro", with the guitarist Manolo Franco and the Flamenco Company Antonio "Vaya con Dios".
He is part of the Flamenco Dance Museum cast.
