ANTONIO FERNÁNDEZ MONTOYA, bailaor. Born 1988 in Seville. Best known in the world of Flamenco with the stage name of El Farru, he is the brother of the great bailaor Farruquito, and son of Juan el Moreno (cantaor) and Farruca (bailaora) adopting the artistic name of his grandfather. Purest flamenco art.
He made his international debut at the age of two in Berlin, and with 10 formed his own company "Los gnomos del flamenco" with which he participated in numerous festivals in Spain and in the rest of the world, such as in Cologne and Kiev.
In 2001 he was part of the work "Incognito" with Francis Brunn's, in addition to participating in the show of his brother Farruquito y Familia in New York, and a tour as a soloist for Mexico with Antonio Canales.
As a great bailaor that he is, he has performed in stages all over the world and achieved a great success in the last tour in Spain besides having a preferential place in the shows created by his brother as "Flamenco Roots", "La Len Varó" "By Right" or "Old Soul", consolidating in all like a singular dancer and of great strength.
From 2005 to present, he is headlining with his mother La Farruca in the last production of the family "Los Farruco".
In 2006 he premiered his own show entitled "Farruco", presented at the NY City Center, among others, and with which he has been on a world tour ever since.
